Feather pearls are very unusual freshwater pearls. They were known before pearl cultivation began, forming on the hinges of mollusk shells. Part of feather pearl nacre typically appears like citrus fruit segments, creating a parallel line pattern reminiscent of feathers. These very unique earrings are from Kojima Pearl. We are so glad to have them and share their beauty with our customers. They are elegant and gracefully set on gold filled simple hooks.
